Dear Ultra Mother,

Thanks to you I met one of my first favourites. Taro took a while to grow into his role but when he did, he did all of you proud!

They say that before your kindness the most savage of kaiju surrender. This I do not doubt. And yet it gave me a secret thrill to see you lay a smackdown on Belial. If he were reading, I'd give him a protip: you never stand between a woman and her family.

But there are many ways to make your way through the world. Fighting is one. Healing is certainly one. And various other combinations lie in between. As much as I respect those fighting for us, I have equal fervor for those attempting to mold the world through peace and mercy. There must be something worth it, having seen the fighters come and go through wars important and futile, and yet remaining unbittered by the world.

May the gods see fit to grant me a small part of your compassion, Marie!! Or was that Mary? Meh. I'm going to follow the rest of the Garrison and call you 'Mother'.
